MAKING A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN CHILDREN’S LIVES FOR 30 YEARS!

For more than two decades our school has been a leader in dance education. Our reputation for inspiring young people to be the best they can be is one of the primary reasons for our success. When we say “the best dancers they can be” we speak inclusively of every student, whether they are pre-school, recreational or intensive students!

We believe a teacher’s influence on the future of a student extends far beyond what goes on in the classroom. Our teaching philosophy is centered on instilling a passion for dance while building self-esteem and confidence in every child. The students’ well being is priority; their capability secondary.
The MDC faculty members are a unique team of qualified professionals! The lessons learned at MDC will last long after the classes are over!

Annual Dance Recital
All students participate in the annual recital, held in June. We take pride in our professional productions, offering your children the chance to showcase their hard work and develop confidence by performing. Family and friends are invited.

 Studio Guidelines
Parent Observation
Parent Observation is scheduled for the first week in December. The students’ families are invited to observe their progress & performance.
Behavior
Good manners and respect are part of the dancer’s discipline. Students are to always be properly dressed in the appropriate attire and footwear for the class they are taking. This is so the instructor is able to see body alignment. Hair must be worn away from the face in a bun for all classes. Chewing gum is unsafe while dancing and is prohibited during class. Dance shoes must be cared for properly. They should be carried in a dance bag to class. Practicing at home plays an important part in a student’s progress and should always be encouraged. Good attendance, proper attire and a positive attitude build strong character and lead to great progress and performance.
