 Best of luck to recent MDC grad, Ms Meghan Johnson, as she prepares to join Tisch School of the Arts' New Studio to pursue her BFA in Musical Theatre! As always, we are beyond proud of you!
 After graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Boston Conservatory this May, Christiana Roberts is packing up her pointe shoes and heading to Rome! Christiana will be spending the month of July dancing in a workshop with Spellbound Contemporary Ballet. Arrivederci!
 Omar has returned from filming on location in Budapest Hungary and is now on a television near you!!! He is a recurring character in 7 episodes on season 2 of the FX series TYRANT! Omar has appeared as a guest star in various television shows (Blue Bloods, Person of Interest and Believe) and is now a special part of this heart-pounding series! INCREDIBLE JOB, OMAR!! Alessandra rang in her 24th birthday this year performing alongside NYC's current mayor, Bill de Blasio in THE ANNUAL INNER CIRCLE SHOW. The 93 year old tradition that pokes fun at all things political, social and NYC related-- pulled in over a thousand audience members this year. Each year, this black-tie event allows the reigning Mayor of New York to join forces with the voices of the press, various celebrities and trending a-listers, all while raising money for NYC charities.
 Recent alums, Jennifer Azzara ('14) & Natalie Rothweiler ('14), are headed off to Rutgers University for their first year of college! Ms Azzara is beginning her journey towards her BFA in dance and Ms Rothweiler begins her BFA in dance education. We wish you girls the best of luck and are so proud of you!
 Christiana Roberts ('11) ,a rising senior at The Boston Conservatory BFA dance program, is spending August in Vienna dancing at ImPulsTanz! This international dance festival runs through the summer where dancers take workshops in ballet and modern alongside professionals from all over the world. Christiana is so lucky to be studying these art forms in such a BEAUTIFUL city and we are beyond proud of her!
 Our talented Omar is at it again! Catch him at The Laura Pels Theatre in the off Broadway premiere of Indian Ink. Omar is amongst a cast of incredible Broadway veterans such as Rosemary Harris and Caroline Lagerfelt, in this heart racing drama by four-time Tony Award winner Tom Stoppard. Production runs until November 30, 2014.

She began right out of college as the coordinator of Digital Media and then was quickly promoted to the Producer of Interactive Television. After 3 years (and an Creative Arts Emmy nomination) she is now a writer and producer in Broadcast Marketing for RedGroup, Showtime's internal ad agency. Sarah, who has her degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts' prestigious film program, is writing and producing promos for all of the network's original series! We are so happy to see Ms Yuro successfully achieving her creative dreams. Congratulations, Sarah!
 Alessandra Valea (Vaganek) ('09) is currently dancing around Europe in the International Tour of Broadway's classic, West Side Story, as a Shark Girl and Anita's alternate! The production, which uses the original Jerome Robbins choreography, is directed and choreographed by Joey McNeely. She comes home to us in May. Safe travels!
